Since our establishment in 1978, Sanibell has transformed itself from a modest local wholesaler to a prominent and international player in the field of bathroom furniture, sinks, mirrors and taps. Starting in Rotterdam and continually expanding across borders, we have reached new milestones time and again. Over the years we have expanded not only our product range, but also our presence in the sanitaryware market.
Rotterdam is the base of Sanibell. In this bustling port city, the business idea was born that would develop into a prominent name in the sanitary industry: Sanibell. Originally founded as a wholesaler, the company was at its core an extension of retailer and sanitary specialist Eteb.
By obtaining an exclusive importership in the field of porcelain products, the company expanded its product range to include sanitary solutions for projects, commercial and public areas. This gave Sanibell the opportunity to broaden their expertise and enter new markets.
Attracted by the growing attention to design, Sanibell consciously chose to develop bathroom furniture. This shift was prompted by trends in the market and the growing demand for aesthetic solutions. With an eye for design and functionality, Sanibell wanted to enrich the bathroom experience. This strategic move opened new doors in the market.
Growth continues and Sanibell moves to new location in Oud-Beijerland. The move to this location marked an important moment of renewal for the company. Oud-Beijerland offered not only modern and sustainable distribution facilities, but also strategic advantages.
With steady growth, an eye on future growth and to keep up with dynamic market demand, the existing warehouse was expanded into a space with as many as 4,500 pallet spaces.
At Sanibell, in 2018 we commemorate not only our 40th anniversary, but also our expansion into new international markets. In that year, we also decided to expand our borders. Literally and figuratively. Sanibell started exporting to Belgium and Germany.
Exports continue to expand. A sales office in Denmark and export activities to the other Scandinavian countries are a reality. The doubling of warehouse space with four external premises in Oud-Beijerland was an urgent necessity if you want to continue delivering from stock.
At Sanibell, we are always looking for ways to improve our efficiency and expand our product range. With the construction of a centrally located distribution hub and sales office in Poland, we have made a nice efficiency improvement. With an impressive 40,000 m2 of floor space, here the products are ready to be distributed to the various branches.
This year is fully dedicated to participating in the international ISH fair in Frankfurt. There we hope to meet potential distributors to expand export activities in Europe. The opening of the distribution hub in Poland is a fact. In terms of product expansions, we have not been idle either and the introduction of IVY® our new brand of bathroom faucets has been marketed as a teaser. In early 2024 the warehouses will be full of four new impressive complete series of bathroom taps.

Plans for further growth and logistical efficiency become concrete through purchase of plot (41,000m2) for new distribution center in Oud-Beijerland. The design is now at an advanced stage and the construction of a warehouse covering approximately 28,000m2 is being prepared. The first pile will go into the ground at the end of 2024 and we expect completion in 2025.
